WHAT IS METAMASK?
MetaMask is a browser extension which allows its users to use it as a cryptocurrency wallet which later can be connected directly to Kucoin Community Chain (KCC) blockchain. Moreover, MetaMask also can be used as a wallet to store tokens that will be built on the protocol of KRC-20.
HOW TO CONNECT METAMASK ACCOUNT TO KUCOIN COMMUNITY CHAIN (KCC)
You can connect your metamask account to Kucoin Community Chain as easily as ABC by following the steps that we provided below. Moreover, there are two versions of doing so which are in the testnet and the mainnet. For your information, you can do these steps either in your smartphone as well as in your computer.

Go to https://metamask.io and click “Download now”.
Click the “Install MetaMask for Chrome” right on the bottom. (Bear in mind, in order to guarantee the success of the installation, your PC/laptop must first have a Google Chrome application in it. Otherwise, you have to download it beforehand.)
Now, click “Add to Chrome” and add the extension.
At this point, you may import your existing wallet if you already have one by entering your secret recovery phase (12 words) or simply create a new wallet if you are a newbie.
You may create a password which will be used every time you are going to log into your account. A simple yet secure password which contains an upper word, a lower word, a digit and a symbol is recommended.
Click “click here to reveal secret words’, save the 12 words and follow the instruction which requires you to copy and paste the words accordingly.
ATTENTION! Please note that this is a crucial step: you have to save your ‘Secret Backup Phase as safe as it could be. It is because you are going to lose all of your assets if you miss it or unconsciously give it up to any untrusted person.
Next, click on the “Network” on the right upper corner of your screen and choose “Custom RFC”.
After that, you are required to fill in the form in order to set up the KCC-Mainnet as shown in the picture. However, you can simply copy and paste the information as we provided below:

New RPC URL : https://rpc-mainnet.kcc.network
Chain ID : 321
Currency Symbol : KCS
Block Explorer URL : https://explorer.kcc.io/en
- When your screen shows the same information as stated above, your account is ready to be used!
